ABOUT YOUR TOUR
We take you on a fun and relaxing bike tour of the WEST side of the city (North West to be specific) and highlights include the Kinkakuji Temple, Ryoan-ji Temple, and Kitano Tenmangu shrine among other stops. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather (hats in summer, gloves in winter) and note that in the case of a forecast of rain, we usually hope for the best then decide based on the conditions that morning to go ahead with the tour or not. Free rescheduling or refunds are available or you can still get out and enjoy the rain on one of our walking tours.
WHERE WE MEET:
We meet at the McDonald's at the corner of Sanjo and Higashioji streets closest to Higashiyama station and from there it's a 2min walk to the temple where we start the tour.
IMPORTANT INFO:
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before the departure time of the tour, if we haven't heard from you, we wait a maximum of 30mins before telling our guides they can head home. We do not offer refunds for last minute cancellations or no-shows.
