We will take you for a stroll through the most beautiful part of Kyoto to see some of the most picturesque streets of the Gion district and the Higashiyama district and enjoy the beauty of this special part of the city. The tour takes around 2hrs to complete and includes around 5km of walking. Our tour starts right across the street from our first stop the impressive Yasaka Shrine! And, if we are lucky, you might see a Geisha or Maiko on their way to a late appointment. We also take a stroll through a couple of shinto shrines and temple grounds where we can briefly chat about how those faiths affect daily life in Japan and give you an introduction to the spiritual world of Japan.
